  The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international, non-profit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of water quality.
  The AWWA Hawaii Section is the local organization dedicated to keeping our state's drinking water clean and safe.
  This is the EPA's web site all about drinking water. The EPA is responsible for the setting the nation's water quality standards.
  The mission of the Safe Drinking Water Branch of the Department of Health is to safeguard public health by protecting Hawaii's drinking water sources from contamination and assure that owners and operators of public water systems provide safe drinking water to the community.
